I'm Abhishek. I've spent ten years writing backend for Indian internet companies — first at Ajio (Reliance's fashion e-commerce platform), then at Dunzo during its quick-commerce scale-up, and now as a tech lead at Piramal Finance. Mostly Java and Python, mostly on AWS, mostly the kind of code that survives an RBI audit.
The last eighteen months I've been pushing LLMs and agentic patterns into those same systems. It turns out the interesting problems aren't in the model — they're in retrieval quality, grounding, eval harnesses, and the human workflows that decide whether a generated answer is allowed to land in a regulated record. I write about those problems because I couldn't find good writing about them when I needed it.
I'm quietly building a knowledge-context platform in this space — aimed at engineering teams inside fintech orgs who need their docs and code queryable without handing everything to a third-party API. If that sounds useful to your team, or you're hiring for staff or principal roles with real AI surface area, I'd like to hear from you.
